If you want cute, you've definitely come to right place. Baby Luv is easily the most adorable casual game I have ever encountered. Not only is it completely open-ended, meaning that there are no separate stages or explicit objectives to complete, but you get to spend the entire time with your fully customized baby! Like all babies, however, the cute young one will not be able to take care of him or herself. And that's where you step in as the primary caregiver.
Before you get started, you have the opportunity to create the baby to suit your preferences. Unlike real life where you don't exactly get to choose whether you end up with a beautiful baby boy or an adorable baby girl, the gender of your virtual baby is completely up to you! Other items on the list of customizable options include skin color, eye color, hair type, hair color, and -- of course -- the baby's name. Suzie, Justine, or Sylvia, it's completely up to you!
Managing All the Baby's Needs
As described above, you will be given the ongoing responsibility of taking care of the young infant. Thankfully, each of his or her needs are represented as a series of meters at the bottom of the screen, so you'll know exactly when you need to change a diaper or go for a walk in the park.
The six icons at the bottom of the screen, accompanied by meters indicating the baby's satisfaction in that area, are:
- Play in the park: Sometimes the baby needs to play with his toys in the great outdoors.
- Play in the living room: The safety of the home, paired with some great toys can make for a very happy baby.
- Feed the baby in the kitchen: We all know how important it is to keep a baby properly nourished.
- Wash the baby in the bathroom: Between rolling on the carpet and having her lunch splatter all over her bib, the baby needs a bath!
- Change the diaper: Did someone go dookie in her tookie?
- Sleep in the crib: Lullaby and goodnight, rock the baby to sleep after a long day of playing, eating, and washing.
Learn Together, Play Together
This is not a passive experience! Your baby's happiness rewards you with points that you can spend in the store. It is at the shop that you will have the opportunity to restock on milk bottles, diapers, clothing, and other items... like toys!
As you make your way through this baby simulation, many new items will appear in the store for purchase. It is absolutely critical that you keep the baby happy so that you can earn those points and buy these products. The toys are easily the most fun, because while the baby can enjoy some on her own -- like the teddy bear -- others will require your input and interaction.
For example, there is the xylophone where you must mimic the sound pattern performed by your baby. There are also jigsaw puzzles, matching games, and other fun activities that you can enjoy with your baby. Naturally, these interactive games will produce more "happiness points" than the passive items.

I love how this game is completely open-ended, but it makes it so difficult to stop! I can't get enough of my beautiful baby and all the toys that he loves to play with. With more fun outfits and items in the store to purchase, this offering theoretically has unlimited replay value!
