In the tradition that brought us such cult classics as Breakout and Arkanoid, Ballistik takes you out of a world drawn up in only two dimensions, and layers those blocks in a hugely original three dimensional fashion! What's more, each brick has some fairly unique characteristics, with some taking on the form of water, some taking several hits to be destroyed, and more that remain hidden until they make contact with a magical ball bouncing around in the field.
Incredible 3D Action
The out of this world 3D graphics truly are a sight to behold. You'll enjoy 100 hand-crafted levels, each exploiting a particular theme or idea. For example, there is one stage wherein the bricks create a pirate ship, another where they are three-dimensional dollar signs, and yet one more that looks like a Medieval castle.
When you destroy a brick, all the blocks above it come crashing down a level until you've broken all pieces in the field. To do this, you rebound a small ball off of your paddle located at the bottom of the screen. Moving it is easy: Just slide your mouse pointer.

Breaking Out With Unique Weapons
Breaking all those unique designs is fun enough in and of itself to create a fantastic brick-busting journey, but the developers have included some rather special surprises for you to enjoy as well. In fact, there are seventeen original powerups in all to enjoy, some aiding you in your block-destroying endeavors, others making this more difficult and more challenging. For example, you can equip your rebounding ship on the bottom of the screen with some twin cannons or a rocket launcher. Other powerups make that ship wider, make the ball move slower (or faster), or even introduce a bunch of extra balls into the mix. One such powerup creates nine spheres of destructive goodness. Needless to say, things become quite the juggling act, balancing elements of heart-pounding arcade action with thought-provoking strategy.
