Enter the BurgerTron 2000

Not everyone can open a new restaurant and be successful at it. There are many factors that you need to consider, from location to marketing, customer service to decor. One of the greatest areas that determine whether a particular eatery will be successful or not is the quality of food and, well, I'm not exactly a whiz in the kitchen and neither is the main character in Burger Rush. Thankfully, a mysterious package arrived in the mail the other day and the protagonist set out to build what the blueprint found within was describing.

After some careful tinkering, what emerged was the BurgerTron 2000, an artificially intelligent robot chef that will produce just about anything you'd need to create at a burger joint. Inspired, the main character dumped all of his live savings into opening a new restaurant with the BurgerTron 2000 in full tow and this is where you step in. It's opening day and you've got to learn how to use the machine and maybe, just maybe, you'll be able to turn a juicy profit.

It's Not All Automatic

This is a fairly unique twist on the tried and true business simulation genre popularized by titles like Diner Dash and Cake Mania. Instead of having an on-screen avatar frantically run around on the screen to complete the orders, you have a kind of all-powerful hand that instantly runs from one section of the eatery to another.

The BurgerTron 2000 does the bulk of the work, producing all of the fine food that you'll be serving, but it's still up to you to assemble the meals for your incoming guests. For example, if a customer requests a cheeseburger, you'll have to combine several ingredients that are emerging from the BurgerTron's conveyor belt. You'll need the bottom part of the bun, the burger patty, a slice of cheese, and the top part of the bun. To grab any of these components, simply click on them with your mouse button. When the burger is assembled, you can serve the meaty wonder either by dragging it to the customer's bubble or by simply right-clicking on the burger itself.

Dealing with one customer at a time is a fairly simple process, but it's when you've got to manage multiple orders, each with several items, that you'll start to feel to the burn of entrepreneurship! Be sure to keep those spirits high so that you can rake in some huge tips... and not lose any customers in the process.

Most of your time will be spent in the main Story Mode, progressing through the expansion of your business and the possible opening of new burger joints. There is a definite sense of reward and progression in Story Mode, because you'll unlock fun additions to your business. Start serving fries, soda, onion rings, chicken burgers, and more. You even encounter a little help in the form of a BurgerBot!

Beyond Story Mode, you'll also discover Challenge Mode for one-minute blitzes of increasing difficulty, Relax Mode for a casual dining experience, and Expert Story for the real pros in the audience.
