Flo Finally Goes Home
Diner Dash is back! Everyone's favorite restaurant simulation game franchise is back with another edition, but instead of Flo being on the go again, she finally went back to her original hometown. Unfortunately, things aren't exactly the way she remembers them, and as such, it's not exactly home sweet home.
Arriving back in her city, Flo meets up with her Grandma Florence, who picks her up in a beautiful Flomobile. Our favorite waitress hasn't been back home since she was a little girl, so it's great to just go cruising around with her grandma, just like old times. Arriving at the city zoo, however, Flo discovers that the city is in shambles. The zoo, once a place bustling with business and filled with smiling children, now looks more like a ghost town. This is not acceptable!
Follow Flo as she ventures around the city, re-gentrifying her hometown back to its former glory. Remind people just how great this town truly is by offering them world class service, backed up with grandma's delicious cooking! It starts at the Safari Cafe in the Zoo, but who knows where this noble pursuit will lead?
Be a Hometown Hero!
When you first arrive at the Safari Cafe in the Zoo, you find the eatery to be in pretty poor condition. The counter is dirty, the tables are breaking, and the atmosphere is pretty darn grungy! As you serve the incoming customers in the best manner possible, you'll help to improve the profits generated by the cafe, spending this money on a series of upgrades and updates. A place that looks good, feels good!
As before, the process of serving customers is a multi-step process.
- Seat the parties of customers at available tables. Match the color of the seat with the customer for bonus multiplier points.
- Take their order when they're ready, bringing the ticket to the kitchen.
- Deliver their meals as soon as possible, possibly giving them a free drink to improve their moods.
- Drop off the check when the customers are finished eating.
- Clear the table, bringing the dirty dishes to the push cart.
To get even more points, string together several identical actions. For example, take the orders of several tables at a time, rather than mixing it up with seating customers and delivering food. By doing the same task over and over, your points are multiplied.
Fun New Additions
Everything that makes the Diner Dash series so great is back in this Hometown Hero edition, but that didn't stop the developers from throwing in tons of great new additions that make this new offering well worth your purchase. For example, it is now possible to push neighboring tables together. This way, if you have two adjacent tables with two seats each, you can sit a party of four by combining the two tables.
Also, early on in the game, you may hire some help in the form of another waiter or waitress. It's not completely a congenial relationship, though, and you will be competing against the new hire to bring in more money for the day. If not, you would be the one that needs training!

Flo is perhaps the world's most recognizable virtual waitress and entrepreneur... and for good reason! She's proven time and time again that she can turn any business around, so it's time to bring your hometown by to its former glory. Be a hero!
