The Farm Goes International

Most children grow up with a mild interest in barnyard animals and the intricate workings of a farm. They want to know how the farmers feed the pigs, collect the eggs, milk the cows, and otherwise go about producing all the great food that eventually ends up on our breakfast and dinner tables. That's how the Farm Frenzy franchise came to be, but now it's time to broaden your horizons.

Scarlett may be an expert farmer in places that are more familiar to us, but she is called over to Africa to help her friend Morris rebuild his farm. It seems that the local Farmer's Union is of little help, so it's up to Scarlett to help him get his farm back on its feet. Can you help manage the livestock, deal with the marketplace, and fight off the wild predators at the same time?

After you've helped Morris in Africa, it seems that other farmers around the world need your help too. Who will you help next? How about some penguins in Antarctica? Yes, you can farm there too.

Starting with Some Guinea Fowl

Going back to the adventure at the African farm with Morris, the procedure for each stage will vary slightly, but the core concept remains the same as what you've already experienced in previous Farm Frenzy games. Each successive level will throw in new challenges, new animals, and new goals, so be prepared to learn on the fly.

At its core, you will start with a guinea bird or two. You feed them by watering the ground and growing grass, but you have to pay to use the well to get water. Everything costs money. In exchange, the guinea fowl lay eggs and these can be very valuable commodities. They can be sold directly at the market using your truck, they can be turned into egg powder using the appropriate machinery, or you can even raise more birds using the egg incubators.

Managing More Livestock and Products

That's only the beginning. Soon, you will find yourself in the market for new products and new animals. Lions may come prowling on your farm, attempting to eat your fowl! Click quickly to put them in a cage and then you can sell the wild cats in the market.

Going beyond the basic eggs and the processed egg powder, you will also find the ability to buy a cookie machine. Cookies sell for more money in the market than raw egg powder, you see. Progressing through the different international locations, you will find new and exciting products, sometimes involving more than one ingredient!

Fast and Frantic Farming Fun

The early stages seem simple enough. You may be asked to collect a certain number of eggs or amass a certain amount of money. This may only require a small number of fowl. However, the action gets a lot faster very soon when you find yourself trying to manage 30 birds or more, in addition to all the commodities, machinery, and wild predators.

Prepare for some incredibly fast-paced frantic action as you try to keep the well filled with water so that you can grow the grass needed to feed the birds. Without grass, the birds go ballistic and die. You also need to collect those eggs from the ground before they disappear, send the truck to the city to sell your goods, process your produce through the different machines, and more... all at the same time. Who said farm life was slow?
