The Alien Invasion is Back
Just when you thought that safety and security had been returned to our fragile blue and green planet, little green men have returned to throw our lives into a tailspin once more. The alien invaders are back and they have kidnapped thousands of our fair citizens, including men, women, and children. It is once again up to you to rescue the citizens of the Earth.
Don't let the whimsical and enchanting graphics deceive you, because the action here is downright serious. Yes, you'll have a lot of fun saving the planet and rescuing your neighbors, but no quest has ever been more important in human history. As such, it only makes sense that we've turned to the world's greatest minds.
Reversing the Abduction
Interestingly enough, it's Albert Einstein who came up with the most effective way to reverse the abduction and save our fellow human beings. The scientist and his team of the world's brightest minds developed what is known as the Magic Ball of Relativity.
Rather than risk harm and abduction yourself, you launch this magic ball into the next dimension and everything that it hits is returned to our home planet! The action is very much like the Breakout and Arkanoid games of nostalgia's past, but your "paddle" is a curved spaceship instead.
Controlling this "bat" of a ship is remarkably intuitive, since all you have to do is move your mouse pointer. Depending on where the Magic Ball of Relativity hits the bat, the ball will rebound at a different angle. Strategically bash that ball to save the Earth.
Cascading to the Third Dimension
In some other tile-busting adventures, the bricks to be broken were simply two-dimensional. They represented a simple grid of items that had to be crushed and removed. That is not the case here.
Instead, the unique cartoon-themed environment is three-dimensional. As you destroy the bricks that lay beneath tall towers and other constructive elements, the pieces above them cascade down with an interesting twist of physics. The 3D visuals will stun you, but it's the movement that will really get you going.
But that's not where the action ends. Far from, actually. The wildly addicting arcade action continues with a wide variety of power-ups and power-downs that affect the gameplay. In general, the red items make for a more difficult experience, whereas green ones are positive.
For instance, there are several different types of guns that will be made available to you, including machine guns, cannons, and even lasers. Further still, environmental upgrades appear in the form of lightning strikes, meteor showers, and even a sniper laser-equipped alien on a floating ship. This is a friendly alien with a gun, apparently.
A Fun Way to Save the World
A hero's work is never done and so you find yourself saving the planet once more. Thankfully, this is one of the most creative and enjoyable planet-saving experiences that you will ever encounter, featuring thrilling upgrades, beautiful graphics, and fast-paced arcade action. Be sure to keep an eye out for falling diamonds. Collect all ten in each stage to receive double the score!
