We've Got a Wedding To Plan
Wedding Dash 2 proves that the tried-and-true Diner Dash formula will never get old. With great graphics and a fun (and funny) story, both backed up by solid gameplay, this product proves to be a classic in the making. Hop into the shoes of our wedding planner Quinn, who, dare I say, is just as charming as Flo, and give some lucky couple the wedding of a lifetime!
If you're like me and planning weddings isn't really your thing, don't despair. With gameplay this fun, it's easy to overlook the sentimental aspects of it and just have a great time. Plus, a lot of parts will have you laughing out loud, like when you need to shoo troublesome pigeons away from the food table. Despite the premise, there is a lot here for wedding fans and non-fans alike.
Your Responsibilities
You are a wedding planner, so aside from your responsibilities at the wedding itself, you'll also have to plan things in advance. Going off of the bride and groom's suggestions, you'll need to pick the color for tablecloths as well as what type of cake and appetizers you want. You'll want to start things off on a good note (and earn money as well) so be sure to pay careful attention to what the couple wants. They'll never flat out tell you what they want, but they'll give you suggestions, as will Quinn. Some suggestions are obvious, such as a vegetarian appetizer, while others are less obvious and left up to your discretion.
At The Wedding
During the actual reception, you'll have various tasks and pick up more as you go. The basics include seating and feeding guests and delivering their gifts to the happy couple. When seating, guests will often have requests - such as sitting at a certain table or next to a certain someone - that can be granted for extra cash. Once you have them situated, simply grab their gift and zip on over to the bride and groom's table to drop it off. You'll then need to bring each guest their appetizer, main dish, and a piece of cake. Everyone eats the same thing, so you wont to have worry about getting orders correct.
Once people have been fed, they'll head over to the dance floor and proceed to boogie and at that point they're out of your hair. As time goes on, you'll need to perform new tasks, such as the above-mentioned shooing of pigeons. You'll also need to take pictures when appropriate; you do this by simply click on whoever wants their picture taken and your photographer will do the rest.
A Special Occasion
Wedding Dash 2 is a wonderful spin on the genre. Instead of feeling like Diner Dash with a new coat of paint, it gives you new characters, settings, and new tasks to perform, resulting in a breath of fresh air. Anyone who enjoys these types of games - whether or not you enjoy weddings - will have a world of fun.
