Third Time's The Charm?
You could say that Quinn is a veteran of the wedding scene, but that's only when it comes to someone else's wedding. She's run into a bit of a snag with her own dream wedding, because her husband-to-be doesn't even know that they're about to get married in eight short weeks!
Even though she has many friends in Dinertown, Quinn has always dreamed of hosting her own wedding at the Cloud Nine Resort. The exotic locale is fully booked for the next eight years, but Quinn was lucky enough to find a last minute cancellation... and she's already paid for it. Her boyfriend Joe doesn't know it and he hasn't even proposed!
It is under these circumstances that Quinn strikes a deal with Cupid, helping him with his list of couples so that he can shoot Joe, help him fall head over heels in love with Quinn, and make the proposal. Will you be able to do it?
Mindful of Theme and Budget
Weddings are a great place to meet new people, so it's up to Quinn to help organize, plan, and run a series of successful weddings so new lovebirds can get to know one another. Working within the constraints of a set budget, Quinn must make sure that each event adheres to the preferences of the bride and groom.
For instance, one couple may want a Mexican-themed wedding for under $300. Using this budget, Quinn must choose an appropriate cake, menu, and guest table design. From there, it's time to host the wedding itself!
How to Host a Successful Wedding
Veterans of the Dinertown series of time management games will recognize the familiar style of the third Wedding Dash game, but there are definitely a few quirks tossed into this most recent offering. By and large, the process is three-fold:
- Seat the Guests: You can't just place the guests anywhere, however, because they will come with specific preferences. Some guests will prefer to sit right next to the bridal party, whereas others may want to avoid one of the less desirable attendees. Be mindful of these preferences. You want everyone to be happy, right?
- Take the Gifts: After being seated, the guests will be ready to give their wedding gifts. Take these boxes and add them to the gift table so that they can begin their banquet meal.
- Serve a Three-Course Meal: Each guest will be treated to a full three-course meal and you need to serve them the dishes as they need them. Start with the appetizer, move on to the entree, and finish it off with dessert.
After they've had their fill, the guests will hit up the dance floor, providing an empty seat for another guest to have their meal. Be wary of any challenges you may face along the way.
Playing the Cupid Game
With Quinn and Flo (from Diner Dash) at your disposal, you'll need to run a series of successful weddings. After you've hosted enough events, Cupid will be presented with the opportunity to shoot some new couples with his arrows. This bonus game helps to break up the action... and it gets Quinn that much closer to her dream wedding with Joe at the Cloud Nine Resort.
