A Solitaire Fan's Dream Come True
There is a lot of people in this big, scary world. Among those people, I'm sure there is a pocket of solitaire fans eagerly waiting for their day to come. Well, my obscure little friends, that day is here.
Ancient Tripeaks is the solitaire game to end all others. It offers an amazing eight different variations of the game, which is a selection big enough to please even the most hard-to-please fan. If you an avid gamer, chances are you've played solitaire similar to this and learning the different variations will be a breeze. If you're a newcomer - don't worry, the game features a surprisingly extensive tutorial section that will get you up to speed in no time.
Once you can ace a game of classic with your eyes closed, you'll want to check out the other versions. These are, in the order they are listed in the game:
- Mirror: This mode contains double the fun as the pyramid of cards extends downwards as well as upwards, giving you twice the amount of cards as the classic version.
- Double: Okay, now this mode literally doubles your fun as you play with two decks instead of one, making for a longer and much more challenging game.
- Circle: This variation also uses two decks, spreading them out in a circular. Fun definitely comes full circle (okay, that was cheesy).
- Reverse: The gameplay is turned upside down in this backwards take on it. This change is more that just cosmetic - starting at the tip of the pyramids means you start with fewer cards, making it more difficult.
- Turned: Taking a step in a completely new direction, you play this mode will all of the cards face up. No surprises here, that's for sure.
- Stars: You'll be seeing stars when you try to wrap your brain around this one. Stars features four peaks arranged in a square with all of the peaks facing outwards.
- Single: Finishing off the list is single, where you face but one pyramid of cards. Sounds easy, right? Well guess again!
No Waiting Here
One things that separates Ancient Tripeaks from the competition is the availability of all of the modes right off the bat. Most games that offer different variations on a game only offer them as unlockables - something that you must earn through playing the main game. Luckily, that isn't the case with this game. As soon as you fire it up, you can play any way you like.
You Think You Have What It Takes?
Just because you've played the game of solitaire before, don't think that this is going to be a walk in the park. This product will throw curveball after unrelenting curveball, keeping you on your toes at all times. In fact, combos are a big factor in the game, so you better not hesitate to score those monster points.
