Getting Out of a Bind
The gameplay itself will feel familiar to solitaire enthusiasts. You will be presented with unique layouts of playing cards and your task is to find matching pairs of cards based on their face value. In this way, you can match a ten of spades with the ten of hearts, for example, but not a four of diamonds with the seven of diamonds. The goal is to clear the field of these cards and move on to the next stage.
Inevitably, you will encounter scenarios where you run out of available moves. The draw pile can provide some solace, but even then, you may run out of moves. In times like those, you are afforded three valuable options and you have a limited number of these available to you at any time. The "Undo" tool will reverse your most recent move, the "Shuffle" function randomizes the remaining cards again, and the "Retry" function allows you to restart the current level.
More Points and Other Bonuses
To further earn more points for your restful (but determined) work, you may want to consider some of the possibilities for earning bonus points. For instance, creating "perfect matches" generates more points. This is when you match the exact same card: a nine of hearts with another nine of hearts. Another way to get more points is to match cards in sequence. Follow a pair of sixes with a pair of sevens, then a pair of eights, and so on. There is also a speed bonus for finding pairs quickly.
Perhaps the greatest thing about this game, aside from the fantastic backstory, is the ability to create custom stages. In this way, you literally have an infinite number of levels available for play. What better way to relax than with a custom solitaire game?
