Amber Blythe is the night curator at the Bostonian Museum, where she is happily surrounded by artifacts and relics of the past. Considering she is a vampire she feels right at home in the dark. Unfortunately, her sanctuary proves fleeting when she finds the new curator, Nathaniel Black, breaking into an exhibit one night.

Instead of acting surprised at being caught Nathaniel instead confronts her with a proposition to help him find a legendary Shroud of Lazarus, a relic said to cure all ills and to even bring the dead back to life. In order to find it the two must travel the world on a wild hidden object adventure!
