In addition to some absolutely terrific mahjong solitaire action -- complete with several unique layouts, tile sets, and backgrounds -- this title offers something very special. Under the "Horoscope" feature, you will not only read basic information about your astrological sign, but also other aspects particular to you, like your element, birth stone, birth flower, and even a look into the Celtic Tree of Life. This provides for a richly rewarding experience that keep you captivated, motivated, and perhaps, just perhaps, even enlightened.

Unlock your Fortune

In order to access these wonderful features, you must strive to do your best in the main Fortuna game mode. You start in the season of your birth, and slowly progress through a number of levels that take you over the course of year, watching the leaves change color, the snow falling, and rains bringing new life. Each season is composed of several stages, each aptly named for the period of time in which they take place: in the fall, for example, you'll encounter levels like "Mushroom" and "Pumpkin."

While the main mechanic is what you'd expect -- match pairs of available tiles -- your goal is a little unconventional. Instead of attempting to clear the field of game pieces, you must unearth and reveal the four unique Fortuna tiles buried underneath.

You've got some help along the way too! Near the bottom of the screen, you will see an indication for how many possible matches there are. Moreover, on the lower right hand corner, there are three tools that will aid you in your self-discovery journey. You have unlimited "Undo"s, but a limited number of "Shuffle"s and "Hint"s. Use these sparingly. It is in your best interest to try to keep at least one helper in reserve, as it is possible for you to run out of possible matches, forcing you to use a "Shuffle".

The further along in this tile-matching adventure you get, the more you unlock in your Horoscope, and the greater understanding you will gain of yourself.

Classic Gameplay and More

Beyond the main Fortuna mode, there are two other ways to play this title. With Classic, you must completely clear the screen of all tiles and with Arcade, you play much like the Fortuna variation, attempting to unearth the four specially marked tiles. In both cases, you have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of layout sets, tile sets, and lushly painted backgrounds. Play the Fortuna mode to unlock more.
