Bram Stoker's Vision Re-Imagined

Very few characters from the horror genre have achieved quite as much infamy as Bram Stoker's Dracula. It introduced a whole new generation to the world of vampires, sleeping in coffins, and seeking to drink your blood. Most of these tales take place over a hundred years ago, but it seems that Count Dracula has managed to make his way into the modern day for this current adventure.

Assuming the identity of Vladimir Draco from the Draco Winery in Napa Valley, the world's most notorious vampire is out to seek his revenge against the descendents of the crew who first put him to sleep. Van Helsing and the original Harker family may not be around any longer, but Dracula can extract his vengeance from their bloodline instead. He's back and he's thirstier than ever.

Remember What's at Stake

Following up on a story of a missing woman, reporter Mark Roberts lands an interview with Vladimir Draco as well as a tour of the Draco Winery. What he finds can only be described as positively horrifying, especially since Roberts suddenly goes missing from his hotel room shortly thereafter. Now it is up to Michael and Quinn Harker to get to the bottom of the matter, saving their friend from an eternal sleep.

In addressing each of the mysterious scenes in this epic journey, you'll find that many of the stages also contain hidden areas that must also be unveiled. In addition to finding the hidden objects on your list, you have to find how to unearth the secret spaces as well. When moving your mouse pointer around the screen, look for when it starts to sparkle and change color. To reveal some secret areas, you may have to first find the necessary tools.

To help with the search, this incredible title provides you with two very helpful accessories. To the bottom-left of the screen is the Mystic Mirror. Clicking on any item on your list will reveal its silhouette, pointing you toward its nature and direction. This can also help to clarify any ambiguous objects.

To the bottom-right is the All-Seeing Eye. When you are struggling to find a particular object, highlight it on your list then click on the All-Seeing Eye. This will illuminate the object in question. If no item is highlighted in your list, a random object will be revealed. The All-Seeing Eye regenerates automatically.

It seemed like a perfectly innocent business and one that has easily averted the gaze of the local authorities. The revenge plot for Dracula has been over a century in the making and he is finally ready to spring his trap. This is a truly chilling proposition, since no one would ever suspect the winery proprietor of murder!

With a truly frightening mood, plenty of clever puzzles to solve, and a great back-story to boot, Dracula Files will lead to many sleepless nights next to cloves of garlic and wooden stakes.
