Weaving a Mythical Tapestry

In a magical world not that far away from ours, the residents have intertwined the elements of their environment into stunningly complex and beautiful patterns. Unfortunately, these woven tapestries of twigs have been partially destroyed and it is up to you to recreate these fantastic works of art. There are a few oddly-shaped twigs that remain where they should and your task is to fill in the gaps with the twigs you are provided. Simply grab an available puzzle piece from the conveyor belt at the bottom of the screen by left-clicking on it, rotate it if needed by using the right mouse button, and then place it an appropriate slot in the field above, connecting it to the existing tapestry. Be aware, though, that you cannot leave any branches undone. They must either all be interconnected with one another, creating an infinite sense of harmony, or closed off with the special leaf-shaped twigs.

Your goal is to work your way from the bottom of the field, all the way to the top. You are racing against the clock, in a sense, because you cannot allow the pieces to pile up on the conveyor belt. If the bottom section becomes full, you still start to see a small timer form on the bottom right corner. When this is full, the stage is over and you must start again from the beginning.

Both of these needs are easily fulfilled in this title as there is no single solution to any given level. Instead, there are quite literally infinite possibilities. You can choose to connect two openings together with a twig, merging them together as one. Alternatively, you can let them freely spread out to become even greater in number. The choice is completely yours! The designs are enchanting, and best of all, they are the result of your own creativity! At the same time, puzzle enthusiasts will appreciate the growing challenge of completing the connections. Going through later stages, it will slowly become more and more difficult to use the more strangely shaped twigs and integrate them into your work of art.

As Hard as You Want It to Be

In addition to three difficulty settings to suit any level of twig-connecting mastery -- Easy, Medium, and Hard -- there is also the much more relaxing "No Lose" mode, in which, as you can probably imagine, it is not possible to lose. No time limit to worry about, no pressure to force moves you'd rather not do. With this range of difficulty levels, Fiber Twigs is easily approachable by novices, yet also challenging enough for veterans.

Breathtakingly Original

There are several puzzle games out there for you to play and some may take on very similar elements and present them in a slightly different way. These may provide a little something new while also offering a sense of familiarity. Fiber Twigs isn't like that. I have never encountered a title quite like this wherein I got to combine my strategy and logical side with my more creative side. It is the perfect merger, and I have no qualms in describing Fiber Twigs as breathtakingly original. Wildly addicting and wholly novel, you will not want to put this down.
