A Fun and Delicious Endeavor

The developers of Go Go Gourmet have been paying careful attention and combined both of those genres, resulting in an amazing and fun game that offers some of the best gameplay out there!
Chef In Training
You play as Ginger, a young lady who loves to cook and dreams of someday owning her own restaurant. That dream suddenly comes true when your grandfather Henry - a chef himself - decides to travel the world in search of the world's hottest chili recipe. The question is, what's going to happen to his restaurant while he's away? You're going to run it!
You used to work your butt off in Grandpa Henry's shop when you were a little girl and the place has definitely seen better days. You'll need quite a bit of money to get started. Luckily, your deal old grandfather has you contact a friend of his, a fellow named Chuck Burgerman (one of the best names I've ever seen, period), who promptly hires you as a junior cook in his restaurant. Working for Chuck, you'll gain much-needed experience while also saving up money to fix up your own newly-acquired eatery!
Find It, Cook It
The gameplay in Go Go Gourmet feels familiar while remaining unique. What this means is that while you'll be able to pick it up right away, it will feel like an all-new experience. You work in the kitchen and orders are passed back to you. Once you get an order, you'll have to find the ingredients, cook and prepare the dish, and deliver it.
You start off with a few simple dishes, hamburgers and hot dogs. If someone orders a burger, simply grab some ground beef, fry it up, slap it a bun with some condiments and give it to the front! You prepare hot dogs the same way, except that you're boil them and put them inside buns. It's easy as pie and you'll get the hang of it in no time.
Pretty soon, you'll learn more and more recipes and business will start to pick up. It will get pretty hectic back there, but it never gets impossible to handle.
Between stages, you can repair various parts of your restaurant, provided you have the money. Some repairs are more expensive than others.

Go Go Gourmet is a fantastic game that successfully combines elements from both hidden object games and cooking games, with a dash of customization thrown in for good measure. Mix that in with the entertaining story and enjoyable cartoon art style and you've got yourself a recipe for a great time. If you're looking for something fun and fast-paced, you can't go wrong here.
