The Mona Lisa Has Been Stolen!
It seemed like a good idea at the time. Some time after her graduation from art school, Grace decides to hop on a plane across the Atlantic to visit her good friend Chloe in Paris. They had been childhood chums, so it was going to be one fantastic reunion. As fellow art enthusiasts, a visit to the Louvre was certainly in order.
And that's where Grace's European adventure goes awry. While walking through the exhibits, the Louvre is stormed by a gang of thieves and they rip the Mona Lisa right off the wall. Worse yet, Chloe gets kidnapped in the mix and now it's up to Grace, with the help of Interpol and the local authories, to recover the invaluable painting and her treasured friend!
A Method to the Madness
Going through this adventure, you will be presented with a series of hidden objects stages. The vibrantly colored stages take on a comic book-like motif with vivid imagery and eye-popping contrast. Even so, since they are so detailed, it can be quite challenging to find your target items.
To make the challenge even greater, you are not actually presented with the full list of target items right when you start the stage. Instead, the list is slowly revealed to you as you progress through the current level. Thankfully, there are a few pointers that help in this quest.
First, hovering the mouse pointer over the word in the list will reveal the object's silhouette. This can better define not only its shape, but also its orientation. If the word is printed in blue, it means that you must interact with a stage element to find that target item. When in a pinch, try using the "hint" button to the right.
Pursuing the Mini-Puzzles on the Side
Within each stage, you may be charged with solving a puzzle element of some kind. For instance, you may need to put out a cooking fire. To do so, you find a bag of ice and bowl. You can't just place the ice directly on the fire, so what do you do?
Similarly, you may participate in a huge number of size puzzles and mini-games too. Can you spot the differences between two seemingly identical paintings to determine which one is the counterfeit and which one is legitimate? Can you weave your way through the lock pins in order to jimmy through a door lock?
These mini-games add a good diversion and a range of variety to your European exploits, making for a more enjoyable and more robust game overall. They also challenge different areas of your brain, seeing how well you can apply logic, observation skills, spatial reasoning with jigsaw puzzles, and so much more.

What started out as a pleasant European vacation with a long time friend has quickly turned into an international affair of unfathomable proportions. Mark your quest through several countries as you try your best to collect clues, track the thieves, and hopefully save your friend from imminent peril.
