Welcome to Gumshoe Academy
It's time for an adventure of epic proportions. Take on the role of Adriana, a young suburban girl who has recently enrolled at Gumshoe Academy. In pursuing her career as a private investigator, she has quickly ascended the ranks to become the star student of Professor Peatrie. As such, the professor is more than happy to send Adriana on her first paid mission!
The story begins with Adriana taking a flight to Europe, transporting a number of priceless antique relics. However, while flying over the Atlantic, her airplane is hijacked by an unknown thief and he jumps out of the plane with all of these precious relics in full tow. Adriana calls Professor Peatrie to inform her of the bad news and the professor quickly tells Adriana that she must recover all of the antiques at any cost. A simple transport mission has just got a lot more complicated. And a lot more exciting.
An International Affair
In order to seek out all of the hidden relics, Adriana will need to travel to a number of countries throughout Europe. Your journey will take you to several exotic locations, including Italy, Russia, and Morocco. It's going to be a rather intense chase and even when you arrive at all of these different cities, you're still going to put in a significant amount of working finding all the hidden objects.
Hidden within each city are as many as ten priceless antiques. These range from cryptic glasses to porcelain turtle statues. Also bear in mind that many of these may be obscured or placed in the most unexpected of locations. With each passing chapter, the tale becomes more intriguing, adding twists and turns that you never saw coming! Guide Adriana on her first paid mission and you'll be an expert gumshoe in no time. Professor Peatrie has faith in you!
Mini-Games, Gadgets, and Extras
It's not like the professor is going to send you out into the field completely unarmed! You will initially be given a very valuable guidebook that describes nearly every invaluable antique relic on your list. When you arrive at each scene, you will be presented with a list of items. Clicking on each individual object will bring up a page from the guidebook, describing the story of the antique, as well as a picture to help you in your search.
Eventually, you will come to meet a man that can provide you with additional gadgets. There are magnifying goggles, x-ray goggles, and all sorts of other gadgetry that can serve you well in the field. However, these come at a price! You must prove your worth by completing a series of increasingly challenging mini-games. Rack your brain with the memory game and piece the picture together in the jigsaw. The challenge will be great, but the reward will be greater.

Having those antiques stolen may very well be the best thing that ever happened in your investigative career. Your mission started out simple enough, but by having to travel to several international destinations, tracking down an expert thief, you will have the opportunity to hone your gumshoe skills and ascend the ranks as the world's greatest investigator. Find those lost antiques and your name will be forever be etched in the history of Gumshoe Academy.
