A Tropical Adventure
Need to get away from the everyday? Sit back, relax, and sip on an umbrella drink as you enjoy this all new take on a familiar game. You may have enjoyed playing slots before, and you may have had a blast making lines and patterns in bingo, but with Slingo Quest, you get the best of the both worlds. In this latest version, there is the added "Quest" mode that takes you on an exciting adventure, encountering new items, new environments, and a new spin on life!
Unique Combination of Slots and Bingo
The basic premise is thus: You are presented with a standard 5 x 5 grid of numbers. When you initiate the "spin", you will be provided with five numbers at the bottom of the screen. Match these with the ones on your card, and form as many slingos -- five connected spaces in a straight line, either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally -- as you can. Bear in mind that you have a limited number of spins (usually 20), and sometimes, these spins won't come free. The last few may cost you a certain percentage of your total score and it is up to you whether the opportunity to mark off an extra number or two is worth the sacrifice.
Along the way, you will encounter many bonus items, like Jokers (which can take the place of any number in its column), Cell Super Jokers (which can mark any space at all), Multipliers, and Slingo Vision (which highlights available numbers). There is even something called "Bounce Slingo", that allows you to "bounce" your slingo lines off the edges.
There are two main game modes to enjoy: Quest and Classic.
Quest: Go Island Hopping
In this option, you have the chance to visit a number of different tropical locales, each offering a slightly different twist to the fantastic core game. They boast names like Devil's Isle, Jokerville, Puerto Slingo, Cherub Point, and Pirate's Hideout.
In each stage, a particular pattern will be highlighted on your game card. You must fill in the associated spaces in order to move on to the next round. In this way, when you get treated to a Joker, your priority should be to fill in the spaces colored red. When you get to the final stage on an island, the grid grows to 7 x 7, oftentimes coming with an extra twist or two (and I'm not talking about that lemon wedge in your fruity drink).
You receive bonus points for achieving certain milestones, finding all the secret keys, and completely clearing the grid.
Classic: Back to the Basics
For a more relaxed experience, sit back and enjoy the Classic game mode where there is no set pattern to fulfill. Simply make as many slingos as you can while ensuring that you perform your moves within the allotted time limit. You can use Classic to improve your scanning skills, if you'd like.
A Welcome Departure
Go enjoy the sunshine and enjoy Slingo Quest. You will be surrounded by a lush island paradise, complete with vibrantly rendered graphics, colorful backgrounds, and a super fun interface. Azure seas, golden beaches, and a fantastic, enjoyable game await you.
