The Mystery of the Bermuda Triangle

The Bermuda Triangle has quite the storied history, having inexplicably swallowed countless ships, planes, and just about anything else that has found itself within its confines. As it turns out, aliens from the planet Akvatar have been behind this phenomenon the entire time. Those evil buggers!

Many years ago, the aliens decided to pay Earth a visit and during this time, they lost their precious Pearl of Poseidon. This powerful item is what sustains life on the planet Akvatar and without it, all of its inhabitants will die. As a result, the aliens have been searching the bottom of the sea this entire time, hoping that they would be able to recover the Pearl of Poseidon. They've come up empty-handed time and time again.

The resourceful aliens are recruiting involuntary assistants in their search by sinking ships and planes that travel through the Bermuda Triangle. The people on board these ships and planes are then charged with the task of finding clues, helping the aliens discover the whereabouts of the Pearl. Those who help are returned to the surface. Those who do not, well, they're left to fend for themselves thousands of feet under the sea.

Brave Fox Cub, Hidden Treasures

So, where do you step in? In this fantastic title, you take on the role of Sprill, a brave fox cub who has unwittingly found himself in the middle of the Bermuda Triangle. Like countless others before him, Sprill has been held captive by the Akvatar aliens. Granted the ability to breathe underwater, Sprill must now help the extraterrestrials find their Pearl of Poseidon.

Investigating the many sunken ships and planes at the ocean floor, Sprill looks for clues as to the whereabouts of the Pearl of Poseidon. Along the way, he will recover several hidden objects that may lead them closer to the truth. The aliens are pleased with his progress, but they will not be satisfied until the Pearl is back in their hands. This is one crazy underwater adventure!

Solve the Puzzle

In between certain stages, you may be offered the opportunity to solve a unique puzzle before moving on to the next level. For example, you may have the goal of revealing a seashell in the middle of the screen, but this must be achieved through a series of interconnected mechanisms. These mini-puzzles are similar in nature to some of those point-and-click puzzle games that you may find on the Internet. Drop the ball? Activate the magnet? There is a rhyme and reason to every move and these point-and-click puzzles are a welcome distraction from the main hidden objects game.

Do As You Are Told

With fantastically detailed graphics and a thrilling storyline, Sprill is a fantastic way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon. You will be offered a set number of free "hints" for each segment of the game and these are used to highlight individual items on your hidden objects list. You can earn additional hints by finding question marks interspersed into each scene.

Sprill is held captive by the Akvatar aliens and the only way he will be set free is if he helps them find the Pearl of Poseidon. Do as you are told, or else Sprill will be stuck at the bottom of the sea forever!
