This colourful and richly designed game features a smorgasbord of some of the most entertaining games to hit the market; all to the beat of a lazy island groove. Do you like to play match three games? This game has it! Do you enjoy the ?aim and shoot? action of Zuma? Yep! This game has it too! In fact, Tropix gives you the opportunity through a mischievious little monkey to go bowling, vine swinging or even to indulge yourself with a good round of ?suduko?. Short in story but HUGE in gameplay especially in length and variety, this little monkey game really just has ONE desire in mind: to present you with a fun and entertaining game experience.

An Archipelago of Fun
Tropix introduces you to a tropical island; home to your very own monkey. But as of all monkeys, enjoying a beachfront view isn't as fulfilling without some added luxuries. With that said, your immediate goal is to complete game levels in order to amass sand dollars. Once you save enough sand dollars, you can purchase items within categories labeled: food, fun and comfort. You may buy goods such as bananas to keep your little monkey well fed, green grass, hibiscus flowers to give him some cheer, an Easter Island statue so that he can admire the arts or even a hut in which to house his fruit drinks!
Attending to your comfort needs will eventually allow you to play other games represented by scrolls on islands. As with life, the more sand dollars your monkey collects, the greater his potential to acquire the next island and the next island after that! In fact, a total of 5 islands to choose from! Your job of course is to help him build his island empire and of course, to keep his little islands as happy as can be. Help out your monkey and create your own tropical paradise!
Mastering Tropix: Tips and Tricks
There are 6 islands to choose from featuring 6 kinds of games:
- Cascade: similar to Bejewelled
- Waterwords: letter puzzle game similar to 'Book worm'
- Coco Bowl: bowling
- Jungle Jump: swinging monkeys from vine to vine
- Puffer Poppers: similar to Zuma
- Solitaire: the original card game
Every game is very easy to play and offer levels that are incredibly captivating in spite of their obvious simplicity. Hints are easy to read and game play is remarkably intuitive. Each variety has its own quirk that increases in complexity with the addition of more challenging levels, opponents and power-ups. Even games such as Jungle Jump which is centered on your ability to swing from vine to vine using your mouse need little explanation or instruction.
Everyone has their own favorite game within the 6 different genres so perhaps the only hint that can be offered is for you to choose the one that you enjoy playing the most. Obviously, the better you are at it, the more sand dollars you can make and thereby acquire those extras that will lead you to the purchase of your islands. But take your time though. In fact, take LOTS of time. Within the 'Tropixzone', time flows fleeting at first but before you know it, becomes as endless as the deep blue sea; A great addition to any game library!
