A New Twist on Seek & Find!
Tired of the same old seek and find games? Wizard's Pen is here to shake things up! This graphically stunning game features an all-new gameplay mechanic for players looking for something fresh. While you're still searching for hidden images, you've never done it quite this way before.
The Wizard has vanished from his tower, and it's your job to find him. But the only clues are his strangely blank workbook, and his magical Pen, which allows you to discover the hidden images on each page. When you click on a blank page, the Pen fills in a portion of the hidden image at your cursor. Can you figure out what the object pictured is? If so, type it in and complete the stage! If not, click again to reveal more of the image. But be careful, the fewer clicks you take to solve the puzzle, the better your score, and the quicker you can unlock the bonus minigames!
Don't Find the Hidden Items...Draw Them!
After every few pages, you'll get a special challenge, where the picture is distorted in some strange or artistic fashion: turned into a mosaic, scrambled, or even made into abstract art! By clicking, you can gradually return the image to its normal state, but of course you'll score more by identifying it first, with as few clues as possible.
Find the Missing Objects!
And after every chapter, you get a deluxe interlude, as the game presents a scene similar to traditional hidden object games...a library or study, say, with dozens of objects scattered around. But instead of searching for items hidden in the clutter, you're looking for objects that are missing from the picture. For example, you might be looking for a “LEG”...is that chair missing one of its four legs? Click on the area you think the missing object should go and if you're successful the Wizard's Pen swirls about to draw it back into existence!
Potions and Secrets
There's even more to the game once you get into it. After every chapter you unlock a new Potion to help you unravel the secrets of the Wizard's workbook. Potions can be used to give you a special hint, like an anagram of the pictured object, or a temporary power, such as the ability to see the silhouette of the hidden object! You'll need all these potions, because the challenges keep getting trickier the further you progress into the book, and the mystery of the Wizard's disappearance.
Even once you complete the game, there's more. There are 8 unlockable minigames you can play over and over again, with random images from the nearly 400 in the game… these are great for killing a few minutes, or as a party game with friends or children helping out! Finally, you can access the Wizard's hidden sketchbooks once you've completed the main adventure, opening up even more objects for your playing pleasure!
